This is a remarkable device. It is 28g excluding a single AAA battery, and 55g including it. It does VERY little:
That's it. It does little, it does it well. The battery life is good. I like it much better than MP3 player devices which do things like fancy front-ends etc - this is just 55g! And, it speaks USB Mass Storage while many MP3 players do not.
There isn't even a USB cable. The player itself plugs into a base, which has the battery. This plugpoint is a USB plugpoint. So you unplug the player from the base, and you're ready to plug into a computer.
